November 20th is Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR), it is a day to remember and honor the individuals who have suffered through prejudice and violent hate crimes, memorializing those who have died at the hands of anti-transgendered violence. It is also a chance to raise public awareness of hate-crimes against Transgendered people.
We came across this website:http://www.transgenderdor.org/
and found that there will be vigil held this evening on Mcgill’s downtown campus if you are interested in showing your support.
