Summer Update

hey everyone! A little P10 summer update:

-We are going to camp July 21-23rd (with those that have already registered)
-Our Bodies Our Stories will continue to meet through summer
– We’ll not be offering support appointments before August 8. 
-There will be hangouts at L’asterisk July 25th-26th (no active listening available)
– Project 10 is closed July 27th (drop-in and hangouts are closed)
– L’asterisk open for hangouts on August 2nd (no active listening available)
-Thursday August 3rd: we’re back for drop-in and hangouts

If you need to talk to someone while we’re closed, we suggest you check out our friends at the Centre for Gender Advocacy :

Pride 2017 is coming up!! Here is some of the great programming Project 10 and l’Astérisk will be participating in:

August 6 – Trans March

A celebratory and political march. Together we will make a genderific splash to celebrate our lives and stand for our rights! This year’s focus are the rights of trans migrants.

August 14 – Youth BBQ

This BBQ event is an opportunity to rub shoulders with the diversity of our peers aged 14-25 and to celebrate our solidarity in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. Free food!!


August 14 – Place à la relève:

A show of emering lgbtq* artists from across the province *free*

August 19 – Community day

Project 10 and many other LGBTQ oranisations line the streets of the village to reach out to do some outreach and also meet new people!

August 11-20th  – Espace sécuritaire jeunesse

AlterHéros t’invite à prendre une pause, à participer à diverses activités et à rencontrer d’autres jeunes LGBTQ+ et allié.e.s dans l’espace sécuritaire jeunesse (we will be there for drop-on on Aug 17th)

August 14 – Excellence

A performance event showcasing the excellence of QTBIPOC artists.



August 19 – Queer Between the Covers

A Queer bookfair! Find cool books and zines!


August 14, 6 pm – BBQ QTBIPOC

A safer space BBQ for QTBIPOC (Queer and/or Trans Black Indigenous People of Colour) to have a free meal, hang out and connect with others. WELCOME!


August 16, 6 pm – Being trans today –  5$

[ Presented in French] What does being a trans person mean in 2017? What are the current struggles and issues? How can conditions for trans communities be improved?
