Trans Job Fair

Project 10 and the Centre for Gender Advocacy is teaming up to create a Trans Job Fair. It is open to trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and Two-Spirit individuals and communities. Are you a trans person who is looking for a job? Are you non binary and not sure if you can put your name on your CV? Are you gender non conforming and hoping to find a place to work that celebrates your identity instead of ignores it? Or do you already have a job and you want to learn about your rights in a workshop? We are building this event to provide a space to learn about your options from legit sources and see who's hiring!

A QTBIPOC Filmmakers Lab is a two month long online and in-person hybrid project where youth of colour between 18-25 have the opportunity to learn the tools they need to create and share their own stories through film. The program is designed to uplift emerging QTBIPOC youth who are curious and interested in learning how to tell their own stories. Throughout this program, youth have learned about writing, filming and editing their own short films.

To finalize the program, the filmmakers have made their own short films and we are having a Short Films Festival to celebrate their creations. Join us on August 14 & 15 from 6:30-9:30pm at the Ausgang Plaza (6524 Rue St-Hubert, Montreal, QC H2S2M3)
